I'll admit, when I first started this blog I had hoped that I would be posting something at least once a week. Well, life quickly took over, and I only got 2 posts out. October and all of it's wonderful fall fun, followed by an AMAZING 50th anniversary party pulled together by my family and my brother and sister in law for my parents, then all the wonderful family togetherness, and great food of Thanksgiving, topped off with a huge helping of Christmas, our first one as a family of six. Whew! Who wouldn't get sidetracked with all that fun?!
I've been inspired to start back though, by another wonderful blogging mama, Kelle Hampton. And, if you've never visited her blog, Enjoying the Small Things, then you really should. She has such a wonderful gift for finding the beauty and wonder in the simplest of things, and oh so much joy in the wonderful role of motherhood. And her photos, Oh. My. Gracious! They are inspiring enough on their own! Add in her beautiful writing, and it's just a masterpiece.
So, here's to an abundant new year, and learning how to navigate this new-to-me world of blogging. Maybe I'll even learn how to post some pictures of my own in this, my little corner of the web.
